If you need tangxi 4g lte wire less alternatives, other options may fit your setup better. You might want a different size, more ports, or a newer Wi-Fi standard. The list below includes 6 routers that share key features with the Tangxi. We selected these models because their specifications overlap with the original device. Each alternative offers distinct advantages for specific use cases. You can compare specs to find the right fit for your home or office.
How each alternative compares
Cudy AC1200 Dual-Band 4G LTE Router
The Cudy AC1200 uses Wi-Fi 5 instead of the Tangxi’s older standard, offering dual-band speeds up to 1200Mbps. It includes four wired LAN ports for direct device connections, which the Tangxi lacks. This router is smaller and lighter, fitting easily in small offices. It supports cellular backup internet, making it reliable for rural homes. You get better wired connectivity and higher wireless speeds. However, it does not mention external antennas, so range may be less than the Tangxi’s four 5dBi units. Choose this if you need stable wired links and modern Wi-Fi standards for a small space.
GL.iNet Mudi 4G LTE Travel Router
The GL.iNet Mudi is designed for travel, with a compact size of 5.7 by 3.1 inches and a light weight of 10.1 ounces. It prioritizes security features for encrypted internet access on the go. Unlike the Tangxi, which is a stationary unit with a US plug, this router is portable and built for mobile use. It supports SIM cards but focuses on safety rather than raw range or high device capacity. You trade the Tangxi’s four external antennas and 300Mbps wireless speed for a secure, pocket-sized device. Pick this if you need reliable, encrypted internet while traveling and do not require stationary high-gain coverage.
Bewinner Portable 4G LTE Travel Router
The Bewinner H5577 is a budget-friendly travel router with a small form factor. It supports global 4G bands for international travelers, offering unlocked connectivity. The Tangxi focuses on stationary use with four external antennas for long-range signal reception. The Bewinner gives up that high-gain antenna setup for portability and lower cost. It supports a smaller number of devices compared to the Tangxi’s 10 to 20 device capacity. You gain flexibility for travel but lose the stationary range and speed benefits. Choose this if you prioritize international band support and compact size over stationary performance and high device limits.
Hitron AX3000 5G Cellular Router
The Hitron AX3000 uses Wi-Fi 6 and 5G cellular technology, significantly outperforming the Tangxi’s 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 4 capabilities. It offers AX3000 speeds for high-bandwidth tasks and is certified for major US carriers. The Tangxi is a basic 4G router with external antennas for range. The Hitron provides faster wireless standards and next-generation cellular speeds but lacks the external antenna array for signal boosting. It is heavier at 2.51 pounds. Select this if you need future-proof Wi-Fi 6 and 5G speeds for fail-over internet, rather than the Tangxi’s focus on basic 4G coverage and antenna gain.
VSVABEFV 4G LTE Router
The VSVABEFV 4G LTE C910 router provides wired port flexibility for North American homes. It focuses on stable 4G connectivity without emphasizing high-speed standards. The Tangxi offers 300Mbps wireless speed and four external antennas for better range in weak signal areas. The VSVABEFV gives up the external antenna advantage for a compact design. It supports wired connections, which the Tangxi does not highlight. You trade the Tangxi’s superior range and wireless speed for a simpler, wired-friendly option. Pick this if you need reliable 4G coverage with wired ports in North America and do not require high-gain antenna performance.
Cudy Outdoor AC1200 4G LTE Router
The Cudy Outdoor AC1200 is built for outdoor placement, with weatherproofing and PoE support for remote worksites. It supports up to 50 devices, exceeding the Tangxi’s 20-device limit. The Tangxi is an indoor unit with four external antennas for range. The outdoor Cudy model offers higher device capacity and rugged design but lacks the specific external antenna configuration of the Tangxi. It is larger and heavier, weighing 1.08 pounds. Choose this if you need durable, outdoor cellular backhaul for surveillance or worksites. You gain weather resistance and higher capacity but lose the Tangxi’s specific indoor range optimization.
